Born in 1960. Member of Russia Professional Artist Union at UNESCO since 1994. Studied at the Palekh Art College in 1981-1986. V.V.Bolshakov was his teacher. Works at the Palekh Art-productions Workshops in 1986-1989. Works at creative workshop "Paleshane" since 1993. Chairman of the Board of the Palekh Organization of Russian Artist's Union since 1998.
He was engaged in illustrations for books ("The Life of Jesus Christ in Works by Palekh Artists" (1995)), icon-painting. Themes of works: folklore, literature, religious. Exhibits since 1991.
His works are held in The State Museum of Palekh Art.
