Born in February 16, 1952 in Palekh Village (Ivanovo Region). Member of Artist's Union of the RSFSR since 1981. He is V.S.An's son. Studied at the Palekh Art College in 1967-1972. A.V.Kovalyov was his teacher. Works at the Palekh Art-productions Workshops in 1972-1989.
An engaged in monumental painting (panel "Architecture" in the Palace of Art in Ivanovo, murals in the Pushkin School in Moscow), illustrations for books ("Russia's Son" (1981, with K.V. and B.N.Kukulievs)). Themes of works: folklore, literature, history, genre scenes. Exhibits since 1976.
His works are held in: The State Museum of Palekh Art, The State Russian Museum (St.Petersburg), The All-Russia Museum of Decorative and Applied Art (Moscow), The Plyos State Historic-Arhitectural and Art Museum-Reserve (Ivanovo Region).
