Born in 1962 in Kokhma City (Ivanovo Region). Member of Russia Professional Artist Union at UNESCO since 1994. Studied at the Palekh Art College in 1977-1982. Works at the Palekh Art-productions Workshops in 1982-1989. Works at creative workshop "Paleshane" since 1993.
He was engaged in illustrations for books ("The Life of Jesus Christ in Works by Palekh Artists" (1995)), icon-painting. Themes of works: folklore, literature, genre scenes, religious. Exhibited since 1991.
His works are held in The State Museum of Palekh Art.
