Wing Image

In ancient Russian paintings we can see wings as a part of angels', archangels', seraphs', cherubs' figures and so on. Their image has its own traditions. In modern Palekh art we can see wigs in bird image. Lower you can see some samples of wing image.

	Bird image in I.P.Vakurov's works. Wing image is close to the 15th century traditions but it has elements of the 17th century. Vakurov managed to combine both traditions and generalized form.
